In Dog Handling, I work with medium and large dogs of all ages and certain breeds to help them become confident, well-behaved, and happy companions. My approach focuses on practical obedience and good manners, so your dog can enjoy everyday life with you.
I teach dogs to
Sit and stay (short and long distances)
Down from a sit or stand
Come when called
Heel while walking
Off (furniture or people)
Leave it
I also focus on behavior skills like
No pulling on the leash
No jumping on people
No barking in inappropriate situations
Quiet in crate
No chewing
All lessons are reward based, positive, and tailored to each dogâs personality and learning style, making handling fun, simple, and effective for both dogs and their owners.
Note I do NOT work with aggressive dogs or certain breeds.

I come to your home or to any location you prefer, such as a park or the beach. During our in person meeting, weâll go over what I offer, the behaviors you want to improve, and the skills youâd like your dog to learn. Youâll bring your dog so I can observe their temperament and reactions in a calm, everyday environment. You can also tell me about their triggers, habits, and any challenges youâve been experiencing. This evaluation helps me understand your dogâs needs so I can create a training plan suited for dogs who are ready for basic manners and obedience work.Â
